WinTel32 Windows Dialup/Telnet/Rlogin/FTP Client Package

WinTel32 is a Dialup/Telnet/Rlogin/FTP client package for Windows95/98, NT/XP or later with following features:

  • Emulates VT320, VT220, VT102, VT100, VT52, Wyse50, SCO-ANSI, IBM3151 and ANSI terminals.

Terminal Emulation

WinTel32-Dialup and WinTel32-Telnet can emulate VT320, VT220, VT102, VT100, VT52,  Wyse50, SCO-ANSI, IBM3151 terminals. There are options to set terminal width, height, scroll back buffer, terminal color screen, choice of several fonts. WinTel32-Telnet also supports telnet NAWS feature which allows user to simply resize the terminal window using mouse. The host is informed of the new terminal width and height.

WinTel32-FTP

WinTel32 package also includes a command line based FTP client and a dialog box based FTP client. You can simply drag and drop files to download/upload files from/to the host. The FTP crash recovery mechanism is also supported whereby you can recover rest of the file if your download was interrupted due to loss of a connection. Other ftp commands such as creation of a directory, deleting files, renaming files are also supported. Here is a screen shot of dialog box based FTP client:
